MINI Countryman (used) review
1. What Is It?
Date Published:
21st January 2011
A scaled-up four-door Mini based on the same platform as the BMW X1. The Countryman’s styling makes it stand out, and its interior is equally funky – if hardly the last word in practicality. There’s a choice of petrol and diesel 1.6 engines in 4x4 form, and a huge options catalogue – which quickly puts paid to the list price. Combine this with the fact that it’s still very new, rare and desirable, and
the only second-hand examples are delivery-milers in main dealers, and thus far
you’ll struggle to get your hands on one for less than thirty grand.
