LAND ROVER Range Rover Sport (used) review

1. What Is It?

Date Published: 21st January 2011

Price £17,500-£75000
Dates 2005-on

A Discovery made to look like a Rangey, with sharpened-up handling and a proceeds-of-crime image. Sensational on the road, by Land Rover standards, and lavishly kitted. More practical than you’d think, too. Early 2.7 diesel was replaced by a
much better 3.6 in 2006; 4.2, 4.4 and 5.0 petrols are cripplingly expensive, though all are short on reliability.

Buyer beware!
Wayward electrics and air suspension problems are way more common than they should be, and every bit as expensive as you’d expect.

+ Classy interior, breadth of talents
- Expensive to run, lottery-winner image

What you get
