LAND ROVER 110 (used) review

1. What Is It?

Date Published: 21st January 2011

Price £2000-£31,000
Dates 1983-on

Long-wheelbase version of the basic Land Rover, with more space than a 90 in the back but an equally cramped cabin. The 110 feels heavy and slow, and is clumsily unmanoeuvrable in tight spots. Even pricier than the 90 and every bit as badly equipped; reliability remains terrible, but it’s less likely to have been abused off-road.

Buyer beware!
As with the 90, everything can go wrong, particularly in the drivetrain. Failed front axle
components are even more likely, though at least the 110’s rear unit is stronger. Ex-site vehicles will have had a tortuous life.

Rugged and quite practical
- Slow, unreliable, expensive to run
