A junior SUV borrowing its style from the X5. Dogged by cheap looking trim and black bumpers in the early days, and a hard ride throughout its life, but top versions of the 3.0 diesel engine were superb (there was a 2.0d, too, plus 2.0, 2.5 and 3.0 petrols).Currently being run out to make way for an all-new replacement, so look for big discounts.
Buyer beware!Make sure you test drive it over plenty of bumps, so you can see just how hard thesuspension is.
