NISSAN Navara review

1. General

The moment it was introduced in 2005, the Navara turned the double-cab marked on its head. Trucks had been getting more and more SUV-like for years, but this was basically a ‘real’ SUV which happened to be a double-cab.

Fundamentally, the Navara is a Pathfinder with a leaf-sprung rear axle and a truck body. Hence the similarities in the vehicles’ front-end styling, which is mirrored in their cabins - making the Navara significantly more car-like than any of its rivals.
