HONDA CR-V review

1. To Live With

Date Published: 17th December 2010

The CR-V’s deliberately soft image brought a mixed response from our testers, who variously considered it ‘anonymous,’ ‘funky’ and ‘outright ugly.’ You can make your own mind up about that, but its neat, user-friendly interior got a unanimous thumbs-up on account of its excellent materials and build quality.

It’s a pretty practical machine, too, especially for the young families it’s aimed at. Up front, it’s easy to get comfortable and twin gloveboxes plus a big cubby with a sliding top put it near the top of the tree for stowage.

The back seats slide and recline but are better suited to kids all the same. They do fold down very easily, but leave a step in the cargo floor once stowed.
